Success Through The Savior
New Book Shows Readers How to Stop Making Excuses and Start Succeeding

ELK GROVE, Calif.- Author James A. Bradford offers a faith-based approach to reaching goals and building a successful life with his new book, Sour Grapes (now available through AuthorHouse).

"Sour Grapes is about helping faultfinders, complainers, and those that have an excuse for their misfortunes", Bradford says.

"Excuses hinder success, and prevent people from making the necessary changes in their lives to reach their goals", Bradford says. "In the Old Testament, the people of God blamed their parents for their pitiful lives. Today it's no different; a lot of us point fingers and play the blame game. 'I can't be successful because I was born on the wrong side of the tracks', or 'I can't trust anybody because people are always out to get me'. One of my favorites is 'The devil made me do it'. God shows us that as Children of God, success is what we bring to everything we do, and prosperity is just one of the payoffs."

This book addresses people who want to succeed but choose not to put in the necessary effort. "(People) sit around and do nothing and expect God to do everything, and they call this faith, when in reality it is faith without works", Bradford says. "The message I am trying to convey is that faith without works is dead, and God is in the midst of our faith."

During a brief career as a songwriter under the tutelage of Smokey Robinson, Bradford wrote and performed in Los Angeles for six years and contributed hit songs to four separate Smokey Robinson Albums. At the age of 28, Bradford was saved. He served as a praise and worship leader for six years before being called to the ministry and licensed as an ordained minister in 1986. He is the founder of JAB Ministries. His previous writing credits include 18 inspirational books, and 14 of them have been published. He and his wife, JAB Ministries co-founder Priscilla, have four children: Shaheed, J. Jonathan, Aaliyah, and Erica, and one grandson named Isaiah. More information is available at www.jabradford.com and www.jabincnet.com.
